Sarah & Andrew came to me via a recommendation by their next-door neighbour. They were in the process of planning a large extension to the rear of their home. They knew exactly what style of kitchen they wanted & specified the colours & the copper finishes early on in the process, but they also needed a really practical space for their family to use daily.

The main challenge with this project was the sheer size of the extension, we worked through many layouts together to ensure the kitchen included everything they wanted & needed, but to make sure it was also in proportion to the overall room without leaving any dead or unusable space in other areas. The final kitchen size is just over 7m wide by 4m in depth making it the biggest Helium kitchen on record!

After a few months of planning Sarah & Andrew settled on this stunning beaded shaker kitchen. With the help of their appointed trades, we all worked together to get the new kitchen up & running including the new chimney breast which was designed & built around the kitchen. The kitchen has some really useful features that get used daily including a Quooker boiling water tap, an Elica extraction hob & a Fisher & Paykel ActiveSmart fridge freezer.
The final result is a warming family space that is great for the day to day but also perfect for hosting friends & family.
